Budgeting Process

Taxing entities, like the City of Portland, use the taxable value of properties to set tax rates and generate tax revenues. The City uses the tax information provided to us by the San Patricio County Appraisal District (sanpatcad.org) and San Patricio County Tax Assessor-Collector (co.san-patricio.tx.us) to establish an annual budget.
