The Teen Book Club is typically held the fourth Thursday of each month from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the library meeting room. It is open to students in 7th-12th grades, no pre-registration is required. Students are strongly encouraged to read the book of the month before attending the meeting and participate in a relaxed discussion with other teens over the book.
Selections vary from graphic novels, popular titles, and books made into movies that give young readers the freedom to find a path to a love of reading. Books read in the past include:
- Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card (May 2017)
- The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau (Nov 2017)
- Four-Four-Two by Dean Hughes (June 2018)
- Wild Bird by Wendelin Van Draanen (Jan 2019)
